I'm guessing that there's a bunch of you uni students submitting work together? If not then I apologise, but if so I think you've made the best one so far out of all the ones I've seen. It reminded me of Animator vs Animation. Great job for a nooby :) Keep up the good work, this was quality.

One of the better ones I've seen today

I liked the whole idea, and the drawing was very good. The only thing I can think to suggest you could improve on is to spend more frames on the splashes? if you draw fbf for about 5 frames it would look a lot more convincing. But besides that I think it was very good for someone who's new to flash :)

Hilarious!

Although the animation was a little hazy, that was more than made up for by the concept and storyline. I'll let you off considering this was your first animation, it's very good for a first attempt. I think if you wanted to make this even better, then spend a little longer designing the backgrounds, especially the first scene I noticed only had a solid blue background. But still overall a very good animation ;)

I'll score you highly since this is VERY impressive for a first attempt, it flowed well as a story, the animation side of it was good, and it was drawn with some skill. I think you'd be doing yourself a massive disservice if you didn't make more animations :)

It was good!

Not to take a anything away from what you've made, but this could be improved. Although it looks well storyboarded and you clearly spent a lot of time on it so I won't be too harsh, my first flash wasn't anywhere near as good as this. However, I think the sound quality needs to be improved, plus early on in the flash I think there's a little problem with the shape tween you've done with the lightbulb over the characters head? Maybe just use the graphic of the lightbulb, convert it to a movie clip, then motion tween the alpha from 0% to 100% so it 'appears' above his head? Just a thought. Annnd also don't use the line tool! :P Everyone hates the line tool.. but keep at this! You've clearly got some talent.

some real potential here, it was well scened and storyboarded, but the drawings need to be a little cleaner. If I were you I'd stay away from the line tool, you obviously have some drawing talent so just spend a little longer on the drawings and you'll have a much better results :)

Genre-wise this isn't really my cup of tea, but the animation in this was indisputably excellent, loved all the frame by frame of the girl moving. And it was clearly well storyboarded and drawn with a lot of skill, good work overall. I'd love it if you'd do something a little more upbeat though :)

Totally agree

Animation is about personal expression, reinvention and doing something unique, I wholeheartedly agree with you here. Using a very standardising and plain format like Go Animate will just produce the same boring clones and doesn't give you the full tools to create what you want. Keep real flash alive brudda :)
